The spray is safe to use on nearly all surfaces in your home – with the exception of some plastic surfaces.

WD-40 Home Remedies for the Household

The next time you find stains on your walls or need to remove a mess, consider looking beyond the typical household cleaning products. WD-40 home remedies provide an effective and inexpensive way to tackle some of the most common of issues in a household. Popular suggestions include:

a) Leather Shoe Treatment:

Before you start wearing your new pair of leather shoes, spray them with WD-40 to soften the leather and make the material more comfortable against your feet. This practice will also lessen your chances of developing blisters. A periodic spray of WD-40 will also waterproof the material. Gently buff with a soft cloth.
